Most of your photos showed mostly men in the markets and the women were (all but one I could see) wearing their scarfs or other modest clothing. What was the percentage of women that weren't?
The micro-retail of the market is quaint. I wonder if it will be destroyed when they eventually get Wallmarted.
Peter, to answer your questıon, almost wıthout exceptıon the women were scarved or more ın Caıro, other than the tourısts of course, some of whıch were ın shorts and tank tops. I would have felt a bıt uncomfortable that casual, I went wıth long pants and a short sleeved top-no sexy shoulders or knees showıng!
